JANICE TERESA (LAKE) BOLDEN

February 27, 1959 ~ August 3, 2017 (age 58)

Janice Lake Bolden, 58, of Murfreesboro was born in Bolivar on February 27, 1959 to the late Captain Hughland L. Lake and Ruby Reaves.  She departed this life on Thursday August 3, 2017 in Rutherford County, Tennessee. 

Her funeral service was held on Saturday August 12, 2017 at Mt. Olive MBC-Middleton at 12:00 noon with Reverend James Williams in charge.  Burial was in the Jordan Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Janice confessed her belief in Jesus Christ early in life and was baptized and united with Mt. Olive MBC. 

She was educated in the Hardeman County public schools and was a 1977 graduate of Central High School.  She attended Lane College and was employed as a certified nurse assistant.

In 1987 she married the late Eric M. Bolden and to this union three children were born; CirTavio (Miroslava) Bolden, Erica (Courtney) Bowden and Janica Tranae' Bolden.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lee Jewel and Bobby Neal Lake.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children; four sisters, Overseer Bernett (Len) Messenger, Yvette Lake-Trejo, Annie (Grady) Harris and Minister Joyce (Roosevelt) Hancock; two brothers, Lee Roy and Dr. Anthony Lake; four grandchildren and many other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
