ANTHONY CHARNELL ANDERSON

July 20, 1956 ~ December 31, 2016 (age 60)

Anthony Charnell Anderson was born July 20, 1956 in Fayette County to the late Mary and Alfred Anderson, Jr. He departed this life on December 31, 2016 at Jackson General Hospital.

His funeral service was held on Saturday January 7, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Abundant Faith MB Church in Grand Junction, Tn with Pastor Ricky Jones in charge.  Burial was in the New Zion Cemetery in Lagrange, Tn and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Mr. Anderson professed his faith in Christ in 1967 at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Lagrange, TN. He attended Fayette County high school and graduated in 1974. He played basketball, was a part of the Chess Club and loved to fish. He worked a Sequentia for over 30 years and he also worked at Security Signal, Inc. for 2 years.

Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson and two sisters, Earnestine Jones and Patricia Rucker.

He leaves to cherish his memory: three daughters, Alicia Anderson of Toone, TN, Ebony Taylor of Medina, TN, and Shaniquia Hayes of Grand Junction, TN, along with Chuncy Hays, whom he raised as his only son.  Five grandchildren: Destiny Taylor, Zachaeus Prewitt, Zandria Prewitt, Shanterica Hayes, and Jessie Hayes. Two brothers: Willie (Lee Anner) Anderson, Jerry (Laura) Anderson and one sister, Sandra (Samuel) Jones. One brother –in-law: William “Pete” Rucker and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews. Special friends: Milton Gibson, Patricia Lewis, Lawrence Turner, Lorenzo Embrey, and Arthur Chism, along with many more.
