Charlotte Taylor Obituary

CHARLOTTE ANN (ELLISON) TAYLOR

JANUARY 28, 2018 ~ AUGUST 31, 1966 (AGE 51)

Charlotte Ann Ellison Taylor, 51, of Toone passed away on Sunday January 28, 2018 at Bolivar General Hospital.  She was born August 31, 1966 to Charles and Mary Ann Finley Ellison and was the second of four siblings.  Her grandparents were the late Hamilton and Inell Finley and Oscar and Huellar Ellison.

Her funeral service was held on Saturday February 3, 2018 at Clover Chapel MBC at 12:00 noon with Pastor George Beauregard in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Charlotte Ann Ellison grew-up in the Toone-Cloverport Community with her parents and siblings. Her spiritual nurturing began early by her parents that carried her and her siblings to Sunday School and Worship services at Clover Chapel Baptist Church. She join at a young age and remained until her demise. She was taught to love God, family, all mankind and treat others as she wanted to be treated. She grew-up knowing the value of diligent work, integrity and honesty. In 1985 she graduated from Bolivar Central High School, Bolivar, TN. Time and chance caused the paths of Charlotte Ann Ellison and Kim Tyson Taylor to cross, and destiny charted its course. They exchanged marital vows and this union brought forth two sons; Kim Tyson Jr. & Jamarius Devon. The same life values that her parents instilled in her, were passed on to her children.

Charlotte Ann was a working mother, but she did not let that keep her from teaching and training their children the value of good moral, respect, and honesty. Charlotte Ann was an employee of Harman Automotive of Bolivar, Tennessee for seven years. When it closed she began working at Kilgore Flares in Toone, Tennessee and was employed there for thirteen years, until health challenges caused her to retire.

Charlotte Ann’s transition leaves many memories for her sons: Mr. Kim Tyson Taylor Jr. (daughter-in-law to be, Miss Cassandra Mckinnie) and Mr. Jamarius Devon Taylor; a godson, Steven Ellison & god-daughter, Shayna Betts; three sisters: Mrs. Pamela (Billy) Amos of Jackson, TN, Ms. Regina Ellison Williams of Memphis, TN, and Mrs. Sherry (Kevin) Lyles of Jackson, TN; one nephew, Jamario Ellison, two nieces: Victoria Joy & Robin Mitchell, three god-nieces: Molissa Turner, Khylei Waller, and Kolbei Taylor, a long time friend and father of their sons, Kim Tyson Taylor Sr.
