Don Mask Brown

1952-2016

Don Mask Brown, 64, of Bolivar died on Sunday May 29, 2016 in Bolivar after a short illness.  He was born April 15, 1952 to the late Robert and Fannie Brown.

His funeral service was held on Saturday June 4, 2016 at 1:00 pm at New Hope MB Church-Hickory Valley with Pastor Arthur L. Mckinnie in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.

Don accepted Jesus Christ a a very young age and joined New Hope Church where his membership remained.

Preceding him in death were his parents; five brothers, George, Joseph, Charlie, Dave and Gus Brown and three sons, Bryan and Brandon Brown and Austin Woods.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Katherine Brown; four sons, Don, Jr. (Deneil), Brent (Tina) Brown, Victor Alexander (Adrein) and Antonio Pirtle; siblings, Liller (Walter) Joy, Clara (Clarence) Woods, Alice Woods, Peggy (Nathan) Gibbs, Sarah (Randy) Murphy, John (Alberta) and Tom (Ola) Brown; nine grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends that will truly miss him.
