GEORGIA LUE MORROW

October 28, 1941 ~ August 10, 2017 (age 75)

Georgia Lue McKinnie Morrow, 75, passed away on Thursday August 10, 2017 at her home. She was born on October 28, 1941 in Hardeman County to the late Boss Willie McKinnie and Hattie Jones McKinnie.

Her funeral service was held on Wednesday August 16, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Green Grove MBC-Whiteville with Pastor Daryl Ransom in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

She was a graduate of Bolivar Industrial School and was a member of the women's basketball team.  She was a member of Green Grove MBC and worked as a LPN nurse for many years.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Albert and Percy McKinnie; and sisters, Bessie Shaw, Linnie Girley and Dorthulia Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband John "Sonny" Morrow; five daughters, Shelia Jones, Antionette (Lynn) Price, Susan Robinson, Tyline Day and Latonia (Albert) Kelly; sisters, Dorothy Mae (Albert) Williams, Laura Boyle and Nellie Newson; five granddaughters and six grandsons; five great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
