GEORGIE LEE JUSTICE

June 9, 1931 ~ February 7, 2017 (age 85)

GEORGIE LEE JUSTICE, 85, of Bolivar passed away on Tuesday February 7, 2017.  She was born on June 9, 1931 to the late Viola Bradford but was raised by her aunt and uncle, William and Ophelia Franklin.  

Her funeral service was held on Saturday February 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Greater Springfield MBC-Bolivar with Reverend Robert "Champ" Williams in charge.  Burial was in the Bolivar Community Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

In April 1959 she married the late Ivy Lee Justice and to this union nine children were born.

She was employed for twenty years with the Town House Restaurant.  Her hobbies included fishing and Bingo.  

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; three children, Rosie F. Perry, Tempy J. Risinger and William Jr. Franklin; four brothers, A.C., Lonzo, James and William Spinks and two sisters, Mattie Mae Lewis and Ozella Franklin.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Carolyn (Milton) Jones and Delora McKinnie; four sons, Sidney Eugene Miller, David Justice, Ivy Lee, Jr. and Larry Donnell Justice; fifteen grandchildren and many other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
