Preston Lake 

1959 --  2016

Preston Lake was born August 2, 1959 in Hardeman County, to Walter Lake and Louise Lake. They were blessed with nine children, Preston being the seventh child.   He was raised in a Christian home. 

His funeral service was held on Wednesday June 1, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Antioch MB Church in Whiteville, TN with Pastor George Beauregard in charge.  Burial was in the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee on Thursday and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

After finishing school at Bolivar Central High he joined the United States Air Force. Completing four years of military services he worked with several airlines including, Clay lacy Avaition, North West Airline, Raytheon Aircraft,  and with Continental Airline and United Airline , he was a maintain technician. He also worked with US Army Corps of Engineers and the Department of Justice.

Preston accepted Jesus at a young age in his life. He joined Antioch MB Church in Whiteville, TN. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Walter lake, one brother, James Lake, both of Bolivar, TN, three sisters: Jerlean Wright of Bolivar, TN, Lorine Robbin of Belleville, IL, Jeanette (Robert) Minter of Whiteville, TN, a special friend Ms. Julia Roebuck. Louise Lake (mother) and four brothers: Greagery lake, Lawrence Lake, Jerome Lake, Walter Lake Jr. (brother-in-law), Clifton Robbin proceeded him in death.Countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
