Rosie Ella Beauregard

May 30, 1932 ~ April 6, 2016 (age 83) 83 Years Old
Rosie Ella Beauregard
1932 -- 2016

Rosie Ella Beauregard was born on May 12, 1932 in Bolivar, Tennessee. She was the third child of thirteen children born to Mr. Robert and Mrs. Lue Birtha Beauregard. Ella was so special that she had two dates of birth. For her entire life she celebrated her birthday on may 12th, but her birth certificate reflects a birth date of May 30th. She said, "I celebrate my birthday on the day my mother said I was born".

Her funeral service was held on Monday April 11, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Old Bethel MB Church-Middleburg, TN with Reverend Patrick H. Tisdale, Jr.  in charge with burial in the Independent cemetery.  Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Ella accepted Christ at an early age at Old Bethel MB Church of Bolivar, Tennessee. She was a faithful member of the church until her health prevented her from attending regularly.   Her basic education was received in the public schools of Hardeman County, Tennessee.

Ella was always a mother figure to her younger sisters and brothers. they looked up to her and respected her as the older sister. She loved her family and always went the extra mile to help them in whatever way she could. Her family, likewise, loved her very much and showed it in the many ways they cared for her when she had difficulty caring for herself. She especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ella loved to cook and she was skilled at making food taste exceptionally good. It pleased her to see people enjoy the food she prepared. This was one of her ministries because she always prepared enough in case someone stopped by. She learned this from her mother who taught her to always prepare enough because you never know who might stop by. Ella lived by a life of service, always doing good for others.

Ella's parents, two children, grandson, three sisters, three brothers preceded her in death.

Rosie Ella's transition from this life leaves many wonderful memories to be cherished by a loving son, Charles (Irene) Beauregard, five grandchildren: Charles (Shari) Beauregard, Jr., Gary (Mykalynne) Taylor, Tracy Wilson, Marquaz Hurde, and Brionna Hurde; seven great grandchildren,; two brothers: Richard Beauregard and Joseph (Dorothy) Beauregard; four sisters: Bernice Beauregard, Irene (Reverend Patrick) Tisdale, Mattie Rivers, and Elizabeth Gatlin, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Two special friends who were like sisters to her, Ms. Laura Boyle and Ms. Rosie Brown, who will certainly miss her.
