Mrs. Sheila Ann Franklin-Marcell was born November 28th, 1970 in Bolivar, TN to the late Rosia Lee & Willie “Pop” Perry.

Her funeral service was held on Friday March 15, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Greater Springfield MB Church with  Bishop Bert Rivers in charge.  Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Saulsbury and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Sheila departed this earthy life on March 7th, 2024 at Jackson General Hospital.

Sheila grew up in Hardeman County and graduated from Bolivar Central High School. Sheila was baptized at an early age and practice her faith faithfully throughout her life. She was a faithful member of In My Father’s House Ministry under the leadership of Bishop Bert Rivers.

Sheila was united in Holy Matrimony to Gary Marcell on July 26th, 1995. Together they reared two children and four grandchildren whom they both love dearly.

Sheila spent majority of her free time with her family and friends. Spending time with her grandkids was her favorite thing to do. Shopping and watching games shows is what she did to past time when she wasn’t with her husband and children. Sheila career was working in a factory.

She worked for TBDN for over ten years and was employed at Toyota until her death.

Sheila leaves to cherish her memories: One Husband; Gary Marcell of Jackson, TN: One Son; Quinterrio Griggs, Sr of Jackson, TN: One Daughter; KeVanity Brown of Nashville, TN: Four Grandchildren; Malachi Jones of Bolivar, TN, Jace and Honestie Griggs both of Murfreesboro, TN, and Quinterrio Griggs, Jr of Brownsville, TN: Two Aunts; Carolyn (Milton) Jones and Delora McKinnie both of Bolivar, TN: Three Uncles; Ivory Justice of Davenport, OH, David Justice of Bolivar, TN, and Larry Justice of Galesburg, IL: A Few Special People in her Life; Taribeyo Young of Bolivar, TN, Shelia Harris of Whiteville, TN, Eva Witherspoon and Cheryl Traylor both of Jackson, TN, and Cawona Ammons/Perry and Josephine Jones of Bolivar, TN). She also leaves a plethora of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends to cherish her memory as well.
