Alma Lee Scott Pugh, 89, died on Friday May 31, 2019 in Corona, CA.  She was born on January 24, 1930 and was the third of seven children born to the late Mack and Nettie Scott. 

Her Tennessee funeral service was held on Saturday June 15, 2019 at 1:00 pm at St. Paul Skipper Springs MB Church-Grand Junction.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

She accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and joined St. Paul Skipper Springs MBC.  She received her education in the Hardeman County public schools and was a proud graduate of Allen-White School-Whiteville and Glady's  Sewing and School of Domestic Arts-Memphis.

 Over the years she lived in Memphis, East St. Louis, IL and Glenarden, MD.  In each location she found a church home. She had a gift for carpentry and loved to sew.   

On April 22, 1953 she married the late Ralph A. Pugh and to this union three sons were born.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband; three brothers, James, Robert and Thomas and one sister, Bertha Meadows Parham.

She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Carl (Madeleine), Clifton (Deborah) and Michael (Cynthia); two brothers, Mack and Timothy (Laverne); six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
