Curtis L. Pirtle was born August 26, 1944 to the late Elmead & Benotish Pirtle. He departed this life on May 28, 2019. He accepted Christ at an early age and attended Faith Temple Church of Deliverance later in life.

His funeral service was held on Tuesday June 4, 2019 at 11:00 am at Jerome Boyd Chapel @ Dixie FH with Elder Wendell Sain in charge of the service. Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to Evangelist Lovine Pirtle and together they raised her four sons.

He was preceded in death by his parents: one brother; Walter (Mae Lois) Pirtle: one sister, Gracie Wilson and one stepson, Perry T. Chappell. He leaves the cherish his memory: his loving wife, Evangelist Lovine Pirtle of Bolivar, TN; three stepsons, Orlando (Stephanie) Chappell of Lagrange, GA., Steven Chappell of Nashville, TN., and Jerome (Lisa) Chappell of Bolivar, TN.; one brother, R.T. Pirtle of Dayton OH.; five sisters, Zerline (George) Jackson of Jackson, TN., Patsy A. Ewudzi of New York, NY., Rosie B Boyd, Dorothy Taylor and Thelma J. Waller all of Bolivar, TN.; two brother in laws, Larry (Freida) Rivers and Ernest l. (Dorothy) Rivers; one sister in law, JoAnn Chappell, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
