Gussie Mae Jenkins Morrow

January 19, 1931 ~ November 20, 2019 (age 88)

Gussie Mae Jenkins Morrow of Moscow, 88, passed away on Wednesday November 20, 2019.  She was born on January 19, 1931 to the late Henry Strickland and Gertrude Jenkins. 

Her funeral service was held on Saturday November  30, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Spring Hill MB Church-Moscow with Reverend Nelson Hunt in charge.  Burial was in the Pine Hill Church Cemetery-LaGrange and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.

She was raised in Hickory Valley where she attended Mays Hill MB Church.  She later joined Pine Hill MBC.

She married the late David Morrow and to this union nine children were born.  She lived in LaGrange for many years and later in life relocated to Moscow and lived with her daughter and grand daughter.  She was well known for raising beautiful flowers. 

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband; children, Joe Hue, Alex Hue, Jesse James and David Western Morrow.  

She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Levorn Morrow; four daughters, Sally Mae (Robert) Brown, Lillie Mae Morrow, Emma Jane Morrow and Rosie Virginia (Neal) Morrow; four sisters, Elise (Eddie) McKinnie, Mary Virginia (Charlie) Jenkins Clinnette (Charles) Jones and Irene Spencer; three brothers, Woodlee, Mose and Junior Jenkins; twenty-three grandchildren and many other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
