FEBRUARY 18, 1930 ~ JANUARY 4, 2019 (AGE 88)

Jessie Mae Valentine Williams, 88, passed away on Friday January 9, 2019 at Baptist Hospital-Collierville. 

She was born on January 26, 1930 in Saulsbury, TN to the late Walter Hubert Valentine and Mary Woody Joy Valentine. 

Her funeral service was held on Saturday January 12, 2019 at Spring Hill MBC-Moscow at 12:00 noon with Reverend Jeffery Hardin in charge of the service.  Burial was in the Liberty Branch Church Cemetery-Moscow and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

She was a member of Elliott's Chapel Baptist Church-Benton County, MS and later united with Liberty Branch MBC where she was a member of the Mother's Board. 

She was educated in the Hardeman County public schools and was employed with Troxel Manufacturing until she retired. 

She loved nature and was an avid gardener.  In 1950 she married the late Artis Williams and to this union eight children were born.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and one daughter, Jessie Louise Dorothy Wilson. 

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Willie C. Valentine, Mary (Henry) Perry, Annie Coleman, Evealene Williams, Artis williams, Jr., Flo (Ulyse) Mitchell and Sharon Williams; siblings, Betty Sue Poplar, Ida Valentine, Walter Mae Hullom; and a host of other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
