LaShonda Yvette Cheshier, 46, passed from this life on December 25, 2018.  She was the only child born on February 19, 1972 in Alexandria, Virginia to the union of Oscar and the late Irene Bond Cheshier.  LaShonda was the Granddaughter of the late Rance Cheshier of Toone, Tennessee.  She was also the Granddaughter of the late Wardell and Clara Bond of Mercer, Tennessee.

Her funeral service was held on Saturday January 5, 2019 at 11:00 am at Hillfiend MB Church with Pastor Lawrence Pirtle in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

She graduated from Wakefield High School in Alexandria, Virginia and went on to obtain an Associate Degree at Northern Virginia Community College.

LaShonda resided in Alexandria, Arlington and Woodbridge, Virginia before moving to Toone, Tennessee in 2005.

She was a dedicated employee with the Kirkland’s Distribution Center in Jackson Tennessee where she received numerous awards and recognitions.

LaShonda is survived by her father, Oscar (Addrene) Cheshier of Toone, Tennessee; Grandmother, Odie Lee Cheshier of Toone, Tennessee; Stepbrother, Willie Milligan; Stepsister, Alicia Milligan both of Greenbelt, Maryland, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
