JULY 18, 1957 ~ OCTOBER 5, 2018 (AGE 61)

Lidden Faye Pirtle, 61, passed away suddenly on Friday October 5, 2018 at Bolivar General Hospital.  She was born in Hardeman County on July 18, 1957 to Mable Puckett Barnett and the late Namor Barnett, Sr.   She was the fifth of ten children.

Her funeral service was held on Saturday October 13, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Bethlehem MBC with pastor Dr. Arthur Becton in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

She accepted Jesus Christ and joined Mt. Salem MBC.  She later moved her membership to Bethlehem MBC where she was a committed member of the chior and Sunday School.  She was married to Ralph Pirtle, Sr. for over forty-eight (48) years and a mother to five children. 

She was employed with the Hardeman County Public Schools and was at Bolivar Elememtery for over forty years. She was well known in the school as the computer, cafeteria, ice cream or snack lady because she was always helping the children.  She was also employed at Pine Meadows Healtcare for over ten years.

Preceding her in death was her father; four siblings, James Puckett, Charlie Yancey, Bobby Barnett and Margaret Harper.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband and mother; three daughters, Katina (Dewayne) McNeal, Kawanda (Jerry) Murphy and Kenealia (Arlando) Armour; three sons, Ralph (Melisa), Jr., Roger (Cassandra) and Charlie (Martha) Pirtle; three sisters, Everlean Wilkes, Katherine Barnett and Sadie (Daryl) Braddock; two brothers, Ernest (Sandra) and Namor, Jr. (Gwen) Barnett; twenty grandchildren and many other friends and relatives that will truly miss her.
