Monique Nicole Bennett was born May 22, 1972 in Queens, New York to the late William Bailey and Essie Bailey. God called her home Monday, November 26, 2018 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Her funeral service was held on Saturday December 1, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Pastor Edward Bowers, Jr. in charge.  Burial will be in the Little Walnut Grove Cemetery with Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com in charge of the professional service. 

Monique was a caring mother and dedicated wife. She lived a life with a spark and glow that touched and impacted everyone she came in contact with. She received her education in New York City School System in Queens, New York.
She worked at Senior Moments as a CNA for several years before her illness. Monique accepted Christ into her life and actively served until God called her home.
Monique was married to Daryl T. Bennett whom she cherished 22 wonderful years together.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Daryl Bennett; one daughter, Myia; four sons, Dominique, Marcus, Mathew and Noah; two granddaughters, Imani & Avery; three sisters, Denise Herron (Raymond), Cynthia Cross, Geneva Elaine Jarrett (Al); two brothers, Jerry Polk and Monzell Bailey; two uncles that she cherished Sam Parham and MacArthur Parham; in-laws, William and Edna Bennett; two brother in-laws, Williams Bennett, Jr. (Karen) and Alex Starks (Joann); and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
