Thessalonian Sain

Mr. Thessalonians (Thess) Sain passed away on Monday August 12, 2019 in Jackson. He was born in Bolivar on August 26, 1940 to the late James and Viola McTizic Sain. His funeral service was held on Saturday August 17, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Zion Temple Worship Center-Bolivar with Elder Herbert Murphy in charge of the funeral service. Burial was in the Jordan Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.
He accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and joined New Bethel COGIC. He attended the Hardeman County pubic schools.
He was married to the late Lizzie Douglas for over forty-six years and they were blessed with six children.
He was employed with Tennessee Foods-Moscoe, Pine meadows Healthcare-Bolivar and Jai and Jai's Learning Resources. Thess was a fun loving person and gardening was his hobby.
Preceding him in death were his parents and wife; five sisters, Minnie Bee, Daisy Lee, Rosetta, Ollie Mae and Bernice; and five brothers, Lee Jewel, Roosevelt, Cornelius, Luster and Odell.
He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Patricia (Tony) Woods; five sons, Marvin (Patricia), Lee, Lewis (Maxine), Jason Sain and Leroy Crisp; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one brother, Luther (Sherri) Sain; two sisters, Inez Davis and Mayola McFadden; many other relatives and frieds that will truly miss him.
