Calvin Earl Moore, Sr.

April 15, 1961 ~ June 6, 2021 (age 60)

Calvin Earl Moore, Sr., passed away on June 6, 2021 in Jackson.  He was born April 15, 1961 to Ada and James T. Moore.

His funeral service was held on Saturday June 19, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Greather Springfield MB Church with Pastor Robert Parham in charge.  Burial was in the Bolivar Community Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.

He accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Greater Springfield MB Church.  

He receive his early education in St. Louis, MO and later completed his education in the Hardeman County public schools.

After high school he served in the US Army for four years.  After being honoraly discharged he began work with the federal government through DECA as a manager and worked for over thirty years.

He was preceded in death by one son, Calvin Moore, Jr.  

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents; one daughter, Amber Moore; two brothers, Maurice and James Moore, Jr.; three sisters, Patricia Martin, Denise Reeves and Gladys (Tommy) Bell; one granddaughter; a host of other friends and relatives that will truly miss him.
