December 11, 1957 ~ March 6, 2020 (age 62)

Mr. George Carter was born December 11, 1950 to the late Williams Carter, Sr and Willie Mae Williamson.

His funeral service was held on Saturday March 21, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Jerome Boyd Chapel @ Dixie FH  with Pastor Jerry Henderson in charge. Burial was in the Anderson Grove Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service. 

He confessed a hope in Christ and joined New Hope Church. 

George was a welder by trade. He loved gardening and fishing. He was a jack of all trades. 

He was preceded in death by both parents and one sister, Rita Carter. 

He loved his family and leaves to cherish his memory, his children, George (Latonya) Jenkins of Jackson, Tn, Tina Coach-Sherfield of Bolivar, Tn, Diane Luellen of Rossville, Tn, Mary Ann (Jessie) Hodge of Moscow, Tn, Ruby Easley of Nashville, Tn, LaGeorgia Teasley and George Williams both of Memphis, Tn and Cynthia Teasley of Hickory Valley, Tn; five siblings: Horace Williams, Cenitha Cater, William (Erick) Carter, Jr., Rickey Carter and Cindy (Lewis) Spears, two aunts: Ruby (James) Grigsby and Bobbie (Eddie) Ellis; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.
