John Dewayne McNeal passed away on Sunday February 23, 2020 in Bolivar.  He was born on December 17, 1967 to the late James and Christine McNeal. 

His funeral service was held on Saturday February 29, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Lighthouse Temple Holiness Church with Elder Herbert Murphy in charge.  Burial was in the Bethlehem Church Cemetery-Bolivar and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service. 

He was a hard worker and worked at CCA, Kilgore Corporation and Hooper Sawmill.  He loved God, his family, fishing and gardening. 

He married his loving wife, Katina Pirtle, in 1992 and to this union three children were born. 

He attended Lighthouse Temple until 2011 when he joined Amazing Grace COGIC where he served as Decon and Sunday School superintendent.

Preceding him in death were his parents, six brothers and one grandson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his spouse; children, Jonathan (Sierra) and Joshua McNeal and Christina (James) Forrest; four brothers, Robert Earl, Terry, Jimmy (Sheila) and Marvin McNeal; four sisters, Vera and Brenda McNeal, Joann Cole and Jackie (Albert) Banks; many other family and friends that will truly miss him.
