Marcus Lenard Cheairs, was better known as Fuya, was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Marcus Cheairs, 46, of Bolivar, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, in Bolivar, Tennessee. Marcus was the son of Ralph and the late Bobby Jo Cheairs.

His funeral service was held on Sunday January  30, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Mt. Olive MB Church with Pastor Bernett Messenger in charge.  Burial was in the Church Cemetery-Bolivar, Tn and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service

Marcus confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

Marcus graduated from Bolivar Central High School in May of 1994. During his school years, he was a member of the men’s basketball team. He wore the number 10 throughout high school.

Marcus attended college at Jackson State Community College, and Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee, where he continued his basketball career. Marcus was employed at Support Solutions in Bolivar, Tennessee. Marcus will be remembered by his family and friends in their own special way.

Marcus hobbies consisted of working on cars, fishing, playing video games, and listening to music, especially Tupac Shakur. Marcus was preceded in death by his mother: Bobby Jo Cheairs; one brother: Christopher Levon Cheairs: grandparents: L.C. and Olivia Cheairs; Albert and Gloria Sain-Kelley. Marcus leaves to cherish his memory, his father; Ralph (Tabitha) Cheairs: one brother; Antonio Cheairs: one cousin/brother; Paul Camper: six nieces, two nephews, two great nieces, and two great nephews, a special cousin/nephew: Kyrie Camper, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
