Mareco graduated from Bolivar Central High School in 1998. He was a corner back and wide receiver (#6). After graduation he went on to Tennessee College of Applied Technology where he received his welder certification. He was employed at Delta Faucet as a certified welder in Jackson, Tn. He was a well mannered man who loved his family, especially his grandma, Josephine Clark.
A Time to Die
His private service was held on Saturday May 16, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Jerome Boyd Chapel @ Dixie FH with Pastor Jermaine Shaw in charge. Burial was in the Antioch MB Church Cemetery-Whiteville and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.
Mareco departed this life to go and live in the great mansion with the King on May 5, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. A Time to Celebrate and Mourn Mareco leaves to cherish his memories, a loving mother, Joyce Ann Clark of Bolivar, Tn, his father, Gregory T. Matthews of Nashville, Tn, his son, Casey Blake Roberts of Memphis, Tn, his maternal grandmother, Josphine Clark of Bolivar, Tn; three brothers, Undra DeShawn Clark, Christopher O’Neal Clark of Bolivar, Tn, Hiram Jamel Matthews of Nashville, Tn, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends who will miss him greatly.
