The Dixie Benefit Association membership burial assistance (not life insurance)

Through the Dixie Benefit Association we continue to honor the old fashion "burial association" that was so popular years ago. This plan discounts the funeral. Annual membership contributions are very inexpensive.

This is the standard life insurance for funeral purposes, also called "burial" insurance because the policy value ranges from a few thousand up to 15 to 20 thousand dollars. It is relatively inexpensive and the policy will only lapse for non-payment of premiums. Availability and premium cost based upon health and age.

This policy lasts for a period of years then will automatically lapse (normally between 5-30 years). The insurance value is high and the annual premiums are low. Many health questions are asked. This type of plan is designed primarily for younger, healthy people.

This is a specialized whole life type insurance plan that pays for the cost of a funeral where the premium installment payments last for a limited time (not to exceed 10 years) or lump sum can be paid. Premiums are relatively reasonable and are based upon age. A plan is available for someone of any age or health.
