Annie L (Greene) Hudson

Annie Lue Greene Hudson, 82, died on Thursday May 16, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital after a short illness.
She was born on December 8, 1936 in Fayette County to the late Shirley A. Green and Lela Rivers Green Coleman.
Her funeral service was held on Saturday May 25, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Smith Chapel MBC with Pastor Shon Beasley in charge. Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.
She accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Smith Chapel. She was a faithful member at Smith Chapel until she married her late husband, Fred Hudson, and joined Hillfield MBC. After his death she returned to Smith Chapel where she was a Sunday School teacher and member of the Motherboard.
She graduated from Allen White School and Mississippi Vocational School. After college she became a teacher and taught at several schools in Hardeman County and retired from Middleton High School. After retirement she loved to travel. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Daughter of Isis, Retired Teachers Association and the MAC Club of Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Preceding her in death were her parents and ten siblings, Josephine, Cora, Helen, Jessie Lee, Franklin, Thomas L.,William Arthur, William Edward, Melvin, Jerry and Terry.
She leaves to cherish her memory three sisters, Georgia (David) McBride, Shirley King and Carolyn Woods; four brothers, Odell (Alma), Shirlie (Bertha), Larry (Sevella) and James Green; many other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
