Carnal Anthony Rivers, Jr., known as “CJ” was born on July 5, 1993, to the late Mr. Carnal Anthony Rivers, Sr. and Ms. Kimberly D. Fingers.
CJ attended Middleton High School and played on the Tigers Football Team. After moving to Bolivar CJ attended and graduated from Bolivar Central High School class of 2012.

His funeral service was held on Saturday July 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Jones Chapel MBC-Grand Junction with Pastor Michael Ryan in charge.  Burial was in the Green Grove Church Cemetery-Whiteville and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.
As an adult CJ moved to Lewisburg, TN and was employed by Calsonic Kansei Industries. There CJ formed many close friendships.
CJ was preceded in death by his father, Carnal A. Rivers, Sr. CJ memories will forever be cherished by his mother, Kimberly Fingers, his step father Leo Perry, and his fiancé Savannah Sewaa Atonsa-Murphy.
CJ legacy will live on through his three children: Terrrelyn Faye Golden, Kinzley Grace Rivers, and Jakayden Golden. CJ also had two step sons: DeAndre Murphy and DeKariey Murphy, whom he loved as his own.
CJ’s memory will also live on through his maternal grandparents: Larry Green and Sandra K. Jamison, his paternal grandparents: Timothy Smith and Mary Coleman, two sisters: Keimya Fingers and Taytianna Pirtle, seven aunts and seven uncles (two that preceded him in death), a host of great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
