Time To be Born:
Charlie James Wright was born on October 8, 1943 to Charlie and Rose Wright. He departed on January 4, 2018 at 12:30 pm at home in the Pecan Grove Apartment.
His funeral service was held on Saturday January 16, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie funeral Home with Pastor Connie Wright in charge. Burial was in the Bolivar Community Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.
A Time to Build Up:
Charlie graduated from Bolivar Industrial School, he was a great basketball player, worked at several factories in Hardeman County. Charlie was well liked by people and had a beautiful smile, went to truck driving school in Clarksville, Tennessee, drove truck for twenty years, state to state, and ten years locally. He loved fishing.
A Time to Embrace:
Charlie accepted Jesus Christ at a young age in his life. In 1980 he married Jerlean to this unit three children were born, Ashley, English and Kadeem Wright, also raised two-step children, Maurice and Robin Parram. He has five other children: Kamila Johnson of Memphis, TN, Felicia Wright of Memphis, TN, Vivan Horton of Bolivar, TN, James Finley of California, and Rickey Gram; three sisters: Frances and Lucille Wright of Moscow, TN, and Betty Jean Wiston of Memphis, TN, two brothers: Earl (Jackie) Owens of Detriot, MI and Earvin Rooser of Kansas.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
Jerlean, Robin, Ashley, English, Kadeem, Felicia, Kamilia, Vivan, James, Rickey, Earl, Earvin, Frances, Lucille, Betty, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws; and a host of grandchildren, great grand children, uncles, aunts, and cousins and countless nieces, nephews and friends. He will truly be missed.
A Time to Weep and Mourn:
Preceded him in death his parents, sister Ella Price, son Maurice Parram, six brothers Willie, chester, Allen, Larry, Jim Wright and Clent Hammer.
