Mrs. Daisy Lee Tipler was born June 18, 1958 to the late Mattie Lee Gibson and L. G. Shaw in Benton County, MS. 

Her funeral service was held on Saturday November 10, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. James Church of God in Christ with Elder James A. Norman in charge.  Burial was in the Shaw Family Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Good Hope Church and later joined St.Luke Church of God in Christ in Ashland, Mississippi. She attended Ole Salem School. Daisy was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late William Tipler.

On Friday, October 26, 2018 at 11:30 am, Daisy departed this life and moved to her heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her father, L. G. Shaw, her mother, Mattie Lee Gibson and her husband, William Tipler, her sisters, Annette Shaw and Sarah Briggs and her brother, Stanley McAfee. 

She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons: Darell Tipler of Ashland, MS an Marcus Tipler of Corinth, MS; two step children: Ted and Leaser Tipler; three sisters: Ann Williams of Grand Junction, TN, Joyce (Willie) Morrow of Michigan City, MS, Joyce Johnson of Memphis, TN; eight brothers: Emmitt (Nancy) Shaw, Roosevelt (Hazel) Traylor, Dwight (Vanessa) Shaw all of Michigan City, MS, David (Janice) Watkins and Danny Watkins both of Ashland, MS, Roger Shaw of New York, NY, Rickey McAfee of Walnut, MS an James (Terrie) McAfee of Mt. Pleasant, TN; one aunt: Daisy Bradford of Memphis, TN; two special friends: Bow Valentine and Eloise Turnage.
