September 17, 1953 - July 11, 2019

Dorothy Mae (Susie) Morrow McKinnie, 65, of Bolivar passed away at home on Thursday July 11, 2019.  She was born in Hardeman County on September 17, 1953 to the late John and Dorothy Morrow. 

Her funeral service was held on Sunday July 14, 2019 at 2:00 pm at mt. Calvary MB Church-Bolivar with Reverend Ernest Polk in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service. 

She dedicated her life to Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Jones Grove MB Church-Hickory Valley and later joined Mt. Calvary where her membership remained. 

She was married to the late Charles McKinnie and to this union five children were born.  She was employed at Devilbiss Air Power Company for several years until her health declined. 

She was preceded in death by her husband; two daughters, Shelia McKinnie and Brenda Morrow; and two brothers, Robert Morrow and Charles Rose.

She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Charles (Kourtney) McKinnie; two daughters, Linda (Tyrone) Davis and Tanya (Carlos) Blaylock; seven sisters, Annie Ajekwu, Shirley Brown, Brenda Bean, Geneva Beard, Lisa Morroe-Davis, Sandra (Steve) Works, and Mary (Wayne) Tucker; five brothers, John Morrow, Terry Prather, James (Evone) Morrow, Donald (Marian) Morrow and Tyris Hunt; two grand children and many other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
