Mr. Eddie John Fields, Jr. was born on March 10, 1958 to the late Mr. Eddie and Mrs. Emma Sue Fields.
Her funeral service was held on Saturday August 3, 2019 at New Bethel MB Church with Pastor John Wesley, Jr. in charge. Burial was in the Bethlehem cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.
Eddie was united in Holy Matrimony to Brenda McKinney and to this union two children were born.
On Tuesday, July 23, 2019, Eddie departed this earthly life at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville, Tn.
He leaves to cherish hie memories: a devoted wife, Brenda Fields; five children: Shatora Franklin, Marcul (Esther) Avant, Maurice Allen (step-son), Leticie (Sean) Ryan, and Brenda Fields; 11 grand children, four sisters: Jeanette (the late Troy) Lewis, Annie Fields, Annie (Melvin) Steward and Princess (Douglas) Walker; two brothers: Christal (Eugenia) Hurt and Bobby Hurt; one brother-in-law: John Wesley White; one uncle: Walter Ray Hurt and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
