Evelyn Jean (Lloyd) Robinson

JUNE 29, 1950 ~ JULY 11, 2019 (AGE 69)

Evelyn Jean Lloyd Robinson, 69, passed away on Thursday July 11, 2019 in Jackson.  She was born on June 29, 1950 in Bolivar to Mattie Woods and the late Louis Lloyd and was raised by her step father, the late Luther Woods. 

Her funeral service was held on Saturday July 20, 2019 at Mt. Olive MB Church with Minister James Williams in charge. Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.

She accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Mt. Olive MB Church where she was a choir member and lead two songs "Heaven is My Goal" and "Two Wings"

Jean attended Bolivar Industrial School and was employed by Harmon Automotive and later Bolivar General Hospital. 

She was married to Willie (Fred) Robinson and to this union four children were born. 

She was preceded in death by her father and stepfather; two brothers, Louis "Eddie" Lloyd and Luther Woods.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband and mother; four children, Eric (Michelle) Lloyd, Angela Lloyd, Fredrick and Nikia Robinson; five sisters, Doris Turner, Inell Washington, Gazella Coleman, Gwendolyn Woods and Natalie Woods; two brothers, James and Cedric Woods; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
