AUGUST 5, 1990 ~ AUGUST 20, 2019 (AGE 29)

Our sweet Juniece Alexandria McTizic, known to everyone as “NeNe”. A beautiful and precious gift, was given to us from God on August 5, 1990.

Her funeral service was held on Saturday August 24, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Zion Temple Worship Center C.O.G.I.C. with Pastor Linwood E. Dillard in charge. Burial was in the Zion Temple II Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home (dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service. 

She was the beloved daughter of Pastor Donald and First Lady Linda McTizic, and the devoted sister of Brittany Renee McTizic. Nene, vibrant and determined, filled her twenty-nine years of life with many endeavors. She attended Bolivar Central High School where she participated in band and choir before graduating on May 17, 2008. Upon completion of High School, she attended Middle TN. State University where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts. Nene was a loyal and dedicated worker. She was employed by MEM1 Amazon in Memphis, TN. Her commitment to her work was recognized, as she was frequently promoted and was named division lead of her department. Her work was not limited to her place of employment; she was faithful to and passionate about her work in the ministry as well; planting seeds of God and kindness in the hearts of many.

Juniece was a loving and God fearing soul. She knew and accepted God as her personal Lord and Savior. She was a member of the Zion Temple Community church singing in the choir and praise team. One of her many passions was her singing and she shared her gift of music selflessly. She enjoyed writing her own songs and her unique sound touched the lives of many. She was a radio personality co-hosting her own show at WMTS Murfreesboro, TN. 88.3 FM called “Tha Remix”.

Memories of Juniece Alexandria McTizic will be cherished by her mother, Linda McTizic; her father, Donald McTizc; her sister, Brittany R. McTizic; her maternal grandmother, Cathy Brown; her paternal grandmother, Azie McTizic; her God parents, Robert and Shirley Spencer; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by one cousin, Travis Brown and her paternal grandfather, Elder Junious McTizic.

NeNe will always be remembered for her kind heart, sweet nature and warm smile. She deeply loved God, her family, friends and people as a whole. It showed in the way she lived her life. To know her truly was to love her. Her memory is one that will be carried in the hearts and minds
