Keundre Mason was born April 15, 1998 to Zemelist and Constance Prewitt. He was raised in Hardeman County.

His funeral service was held on Saturday May 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Jones Chapel MB Church with Bishop Connie Wright in charge of the service. Burial was in the Ewell Cemetery-Moscow, Tn and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.  

Keundre attended Fayette County School and West Tennessee School for the Deaf in Madison County in his early years. He later attended Tennessee School for the Blind where he remained until his death.

Keundre was an inspiration to many. He never let his disabilities define him. He loved life and lived his life to the fullest. Keundre loved being with his family. He loved trains, computers, riding four wheelers, cutting grass, dancing and cooking. Keundre worked with Donelson Café where he did everything from setting the table to assisting with meal prep.

Keundre was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Ma-son; paternal grandparents, Ed Lee & Flora Prewitt; one aunt, Jennie Hodge and three uncles, Ed Prewitt, Timmie L. Mason, and James E. Mason.

Keundre leaves to cherish his memory: his loving parents, Zemelist and Constance Prewitt of Grand Junction, Tn.; seven siblings, Zemelist Prewitt, Jr. of Kinston, N.C., Latrice Mason of Memphis, Tn., Taquelia Mason of Grand Junction, Tn., Ebony Sinclair of Houston, Tx., Shaquille Prewitt of Grand Junction, Tn., Devonte Bell of Walnut, Ms., and Wanya Mason of Grand Junction, Tn.;one grandmother, Etta Ma-son of Moscow, Tn.; three nieces, Jamya Mason, Jakyah Douglas, and Zemora Prewitt; three nephews, Harold Douglas, Jr., Elijah Humphrey, and Zayden Mason; thirteen aunts including one special aunt who help care for him, Eddie Bell Prewitt of Memphis, Tn.; seven uncles and a host of cousins, family and friends.
