MARY VIRTURE HERRON

August 3, 1927 ~ April 25, 2017 (age 89)

 Mary Virture Sain Herron of Bolivar died on Tuesday April 25, 2017 at home.  She was born August 3, 1927 to the late Wilson Sain and Bessie Combs Sain.

Her funeral service was held on Saturday May 6, 2017 at Mt. Salem MB Church with Reverend Gene Bowden in charge.  Burial was in the Patrick Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service. 

She was educated in the Hardeman County public schools.  She received Christ in her heart at an early age and joined Oak Hill MB Church.

She married Raymond Herron and to this union six children were born. In 1965 after seventeen years of marriage he passed away.  She taught the children the value of honesty, hard work and education.

Preceding her in death were her husband; one daughter, Geneva Herron Hudson; one grand son, Courtney Lee Herron and one step-son, James Morris.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Dorothy, Hayes (Vera), William, Raymond (Denise), Leon (Annie) Herron; 21 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 10 great, great grandchildren; one brother, Reverend Soloman Sain;  one sister, Elverta Crowder; and a host of other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
