 Reflections of Life
Minister Odell Sain passed away at home on Saturday December 16, 2017. He was born February 4, 1935 in Hardeman County to the late James and Viola Sain.  He was educated through the Hardeman County School System.  He worked as a custodian for Bolivar Middle School and a maintenance man for Pleasant View Nursing Home where he retired.

His funeral service was held on Saturday December 23, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Olive MB Church-Middleton with Pastor Herbert delivering the eulogy.  Burial was in the Jordan Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Minister Odell joined the Amazing Grace Church family where he served diligently until God called him home.  He was the Assistant Pastor as well as an advisor.  He was a man of few words but when he spoke, everyone listened because he had something beneficial to say.  He lead by example for the entire church family from the pulpit to the front door.  He   believed in supporting his church both financially and in attendance. He prided himself on being a leader and role model for all the men of Amazing Grace Church.

Minister Odell was joined in Holy Matrimony to Margie Smith on April 5, 1997.  He loved joining his wife for leisurely car rides, working in the yard planting flowers or just sitting on the porch enjoying a hot cup of coffee.
