MARCH 17, 1943 ~ FEBRUARY 16, 2018 (AGE 74)

Ms. Revis Polk Armour was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. John and Ceola Chambers Polk on March 17, 1943 in Hardeman County.  She departed this life on February 16, 2018 at  Jackson General Hospital in Jackson, TN.

Her funeral service was held on Saturday February 24, 2018 at the Campbell Chapel MB Church at 12:00 noon with Min. Roscoe Gudger, Jr. in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Revis enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her family.

Revis accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Jones Grove M.B. Church.  She later joined Campbell  Chapel M.B. Church where she remained a member.  She actively attended until her health declined.

Revis was joined in Holy Matrimony to Hubert Armour and to this union one child (Dennis Armour) was born. Her husband preceded her in death.
Revis was also preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Amour; three sisters: Geneva, Estina and Evelyn Polk; four brothers: Jack, James, Jerry, and John George Polk and one cousin who was like a brother John Polk.

Revis leaves to cherish her memories; two daughters: Benetta (Roscoe) Gudger of Oakland, TN and Rena Armour (Tony Miller) of Bolivar, TN; two sons: Dennis Armour of Jackson, TN and Christopher (Latisha) Armour of Moscow, TN; one  sister: Ethel (Jimmie) Wallace of Bolivar, TN; fourteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren; special granddaughter, Tianna Armour, former brother in law, James Holt, special cousin, Annie Lois Demon,  special friend, Joyce Woods, a cousin who  is like a brother, Oscar Polk and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
