JANUARY 15, 1955 ~ OCTOBER 21, 2018 (AGE 63)

Mr. Terry M. Wilkes was born January 15, 1955 to the late Mr. Illinois Wilkes Sr. and Mrs. Odessa Wilkes.

His funeral service was held on Saturday October 27, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Simon Chapel MB Church Pastor Jeffery Bledsoe in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Terry professed in Christ at an early age. He graduated from Bolivar Central and he attended Whiteville Vocational Technical School.

On Sunday, October 21st at 8:50 PM, God sent an angel to Terry’s bedside to take his son to his eternal resting place. He was preceded in death by his father, Illinois and a sister, Vanessa.

Terry leaves to cherish his memories; a loving mother who loved him dearly, Mrs. Odessa Wilkes of Whiteville, Tn.; Four sisters, Verrie Robertson, Minister Evon (Aron) Monie of Bolivar, TN, Debbie (Jerry) Cox and Penny (Gaston) Dotson of Jackson, TN: six brothers, Illinois Wilkes Jr. of Milwaukee, WI, Pastor Danny (Jean) Wilkes of Whiteville, TN.; Kenneth (Faye) Wilkes, Troy (Terry) Wilkes, Charles (Sharon) Wilkes, Scottie (Curenia) Wilkes of Bolivar, TN. Several aunts & uncles (three preceded him in death) special friends, Pastor Nathan Gibbs, David Tisdale, Leo Allen, William Ray Bufford and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends.
