Aaron L. Jarrett, 49, of Bolivar passed away on Thursday July 18, 2024. He was born on January 6, 1975 to Algie and Tommie L. Jarrett. His funeral service was held on Saturday July 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at Mt. Salem MBC with Reverend Algie Jarrett in charge. Burial was in the Mt. Calvary Church Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.
He accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Old Betel MB Church. He later joined Mt. Calvary MB Church.
He enjoyed assisting the church Decons, singing and playing the drums.
He attended the Hardeman County public schools and was a 1993 high school graduate.
He was member of the United States Marine Corps where he was a chef.
After being honorably discharged from the Marines he returned to Bolivar and opened a food truck called Wings and Things.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Latita Simpson and parents; five children, Jonah, Jaelin, Aareonna, Erin and Logan Jarrett; three sisters, Maria (Abel) Trejo, Maggie (Tony) Brasher and Jennifer Jarrett; two brothers, Algie, Jr. (Geneva) and Joshua (Raededra) Jarrett; many other relatives and friends that will miss him.
