Alberta Kimp
May 1, 1954 ~ July 26, 2022 (age 68)
Alberta Lee Morrow-Kimp was born May 1, 1954 to the late Mr. Jake and Alma Morrow.
Her funeral service was held on Saturday August 6, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Mays Hill MB Church in Hickory Valley, Tn with Rev. Dwight Rucker in charge. Burial was in the Church Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.
She was educated in Fayette County School system. She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and at this time she joined Mays Hill MB Church where she was a dedicated member, until he health declined.
On May 1, 1971 she was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Chester Kimp and was married for 51 years.
She was a dedicated hard worker for many years, but the jobs she enjoyed most were being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was lovingly called “Poo Pie” by her great grandchildren.
Alberta leaves to cherish her memories and carry on her legacy; a husband of 51 years, Chester Lee Kimp, 1 daughter, Katie (Johnny) Fuller of Michigan City, MS, 2 grandchildren; Asha Kimp of Hickory Valley, TN and Akata Fuller of Bolivar, TN, 5 great grandchildren; Aden Young, Ariel Young, Aliyah Gatlin of Hickory Valley, TN, Johnavan Fuller, Averi Tiller of Bolivar, TN, 3 sisters; Annie (Rev. Bill) Parks of Memphis, TN, Martha Walton of Hickory Valley, TN, Bessie Mitchell of Jackson, TN, 1 sister-in-love; Wadean Blake of Memphis, TN and a host of other relatives and friends that will continue to love and cherish her.
