Allen Franklin Rainer

March 8, 1945 ~ July 14, 2022 (age 77)

Allen Franklin Rainer was born January 26, 1946 and departed this earthly life on July 14, 2022 at Pine Meadows Nursing Facility.  He was affectionately known to everyone as Frank.

His funeral service was on Saturday July 23, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Oak Hill MB Church with Reverend Christopher Rainer in charge.  Burial was in the Mt. Zion cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

He received Christ as his personal savior at an early age and became a member of Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church upon retiring from his beloved Alaska and returning to Tennessee.

Frank left Bolivar, Tennessee at 17 years old to serve in the US Army.  His time in army allowed him to travel the world extensively while serving his country being stationed in places like Germany, Korea, and more. After 20 years of service in the US Army, he retired to Anchorage, Alaska where served nearly 20 years in the civil service clearing military airfields.  He took great pride in always keeping the runways clear. While there, Frank opened his own restaurant, owned a food truck, drove a cab, managed a pizza hut, and exercised his entrepreneurial spirit whenever he could. Frank loved spending time with his family and friends laughing and talking, especially enjoying a good debate and playing with his dog Kujo.

Frank was preceded in death by his father and mother; Haney and Mabel Estelle “S.T.” Rainer:  Six Brothers; Clarence “Dub” Rainer, Joe “Tuffy” Rainer, Jerry Russell “Polly” Rainer, Charles Rainer, Earnest “Dempsey” Rainer, and James Rainer: One Sister, Dorothy Rainer.

Frank is survived by his daughter Carriaretha (Aaron) Paschal, Dayton, OH; two grandchildren; Jaylin Paschal, Brooklyn, NY, and Aaryn Paschal, Dayton, OH; one loving sister; Gladys R. Walton of Bolivar, TN.; one brother; Michael A. Rainer, Fairbanks, AK.; a loving nephew who was raised with them as a brother; Ricky (Melissa) Robinson of Roth, MN. He is also survived by one sister in law; Ms. Linda Rainer of Jackson, Tn. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
