Annie Lee Gibson

Annie Lee Davis Gibson passed away on Thursday March 21, 2024 at her home in Kokomo, IN.

She was born on October 27, 1942 in Grand Junction to the late John Lee Davis and Annie Lee Lockett.

She accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Pleasant Grove MB Church-Grand Junction.  

Her funeral service was held on Saturday April 6, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Union Hill MB Church-Michigan City, MS with Pastor Randale Woodard in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixienfuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

She attended the Hardeman County public schools including Allen-White School.  

She was employed with Sears for over thirty years.  She enjoyed spending time with her love Willie Gibson and other family members, going to the casino, fishing, playing cards and shopping.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Willie Tran "Tot" Gibson; one son, Tran L. Gibson, brothers, Walter Lee "Plug" Davis, Leon "Smut" Davis and Hazel Davis; sister, Lil Winston.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Ronnie (Suzanne) Davis and Michael (Michelle) Copeland; one daughter, Plyllis (David) Carter; sister, Martha Smith, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
