Aron Monie was born to Vee Ester Taylor and Arthur L. Monie on July 8, 1949 in Somerville, Tn.

A TIME TO EMBRACE

Aron professed his hope in Christ at Mt. Olive CME Church in Dancyville, Tn. He later moved his membership to Simon Chapel MB Church were he remained until his death.

A TIME TO BUILD UP

On October 15, 1971, Aron married the love of his life, Evon Wilkes.

Aron worked various jobs. In retired in 2014 from CCA.

A TIME TO DIE

His graveside service was held on Saturday October 3, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Simon Chapel MB Church Cemeterywith Pastor Jeffrey Bledsoe in charge and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, father in law, Illinois Wilkes, his brother in law, Terry Wilkes, his daughter, Paula Spencer, brothers: Curtis B. Monie, James Nelson, Clarence Monie, Lieutenant Monie, Wade Monie and Matthew Monie.

Aron departed this life to go and live in the great mansion with the King on September 30, 2020 at Baptist East Hospital.

Aron leaves to cherish his memories of 48 years, his loving and devote wife: Evon Monie of Bolivar, TN, mother in law, Odessa Wilkes, two daughters: Pamela (Jerome) Jones of Whiteville, TN and Monique Monie of Arlington, Tx, one son: Stefon (Peggy) Monie of Olive Branch, Ms; ten grand children and 2 great grand children; five sisters: Annie Spencer, of Somerville, Tn, Maxine (Chris) Chapman of Stanton, Tn, Gloria Mabon of Memphis, Tn, Nedra (Floyd) Kee of Somerville, Tn, Grace Franklin of Stanton, Tn; four brothers: William Monie, McArthur Monie, Andrew Monie, and Jerry Monie all of Somerville, TN, two special friends, Robert Robertson and David Nelly and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends who will miss him dearly.
