A Time to Be Born

Jerry Charles Cox, a beloved soul whose life and legacy we celebrate today entered this world on July 25, 1950 and in that moment the world was forever changed. Born in Humboldt, Tennessee to Pete and Estelle Cox, Jerry brought light, love, laughter and hope to all who met him. From the very beginning, Jerry exhibited a remarkable zest for life.

A time to be born is a time of pure potential, and Jerry harnessed that potential throughout his journey. In the years that followed his birth, Jerry navigated the challenges and joys of life, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who crossed his path. His mother was his biggest fan and could not have been prouder of him. Jerry was extremely grateful and always rejoiced as he shared and helped others in acquiring the knowledge, skills, growth and personal development that was evidenced from his educational journey.
