Beadie Hudson
September 30, 1935 ~ October 4, 2020 (age 85)
September 30th 1935, a baby girl came to this earth through the loins of Mr. Anderson Cobb and Miss. Dovie Strayhorn, she was given the name, Beadie Meldon. She and her siblings grew-up in theToone-Cloverport Community.
Her spiritual nurturing began early by her mother who carried her and her siblings to Sunday School and Worship services at Clover Chapel Baptist Church.
Beadie accepted Christ at a young age, was baptized and became a member of Clover Chapel Church and remained until her demise.
She grew-up knowing the value of diligent work, integrity and honesty. Beadie graduated from Allen White High School of Whiteville, TN.
Time and chance caused the paths of Beadie Meldon Cobb and Willie Hudson to cross, and destiny charted its course. In 1960 they exchanged marital vows, this union caused a blending of twelve children. Beadie made their house a loving home for her family while being a full time employee, for many years, at
Kilgore Corp. of Toone, TN, she retired in 1993. After retiring, Beadie enjoyed tending her flowers and spoiling her grandchildren.
On Sunday, October 4th 2020, God dispatched an angel to the home of Beadie Meldon Hudson to separate the soul from her ailing body caring it to a place of rest to await the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her husband, Willie Hudson; three brothers: Lee, Edward, and Aaron; seven children: Willie P., Larry, Gene, Betty, Cinderella, Clarence, and James, preceded her in death. Those who will cherish fond memories of Beadie are: her three daughters: Ms. Rose Hudson of Jackson, TN, Ms. Melsene Tyson of Nashville, TN, Mrs. Lisa (Johnnie) Chism of Toone, TN; two sons: Mr. Melvin Hudson and Mr. Stanley Hudson of
Toone, TN; 20 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 4 great, great grandchildren, 1 great, great, great grandchild; a daughter in- law, Mrs. Hattie Hudson of Sumter, SC; two aunt: Mrs. Bernice (Hamilton) Finley of Toone, TN, Ms. Thelma Cobb of Detroit, MI; one brother-in-law, Joseph Hudson of Toone, TN;
three sisters-in-law: Ms. Hattie Hudson of Toone, TN, Ms. Odie Lee Hudson of Bolivar, TN, and Ms. Mary Ann Love of Cleveland, OH; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
