Beatrice Williams of Gary, IN passed away on Monday March 29, 2021. 

She was born January 23, 1942 in Saulsbury to the late William and Coren Reaves.  

Her funeral service was held on Wednesday April 14, 2021 at 12:00 noon in the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Pastor Melvin Bufford in charge. 

Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery-Saulsbury and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

She attended the Hardeman County public schools.  She believed in Jesus Christ and joined Mt. Salem MB Church.  

In 1959 she married Rayford Perry and to this union three children were born.  She later married Lee Williams.

She relocated to Gary and joined Calvary Baptist Church where she served as trustee and later joined New Vision Baptist Church.

She worked for Mercy Hospital as a nurse technician when she retired after thirty years of service.  

She enjoyed dressing in the latest fashion, wearing her blonde hair and hats. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son Ray Anthony Perry; sister, Dorethea Reaves; brother, Thomas Reaves and two grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Cedric (Lynnette) Perry; one daughter, Paula Perry; eight grandchildren; four brothers, William (Lana), Billy (Louise), James (Pam) and Ray (LaVeta) Reaves; six sisters, Josephine Perry, Mae Toy (Charlie) Jones, Gwendolyn (JT) Hamer, Jerry Mason, Pastor Pauline Ezell and Patricia Gibson; a host of other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
