Betty Jean Herron was born November 3rd, 1956 to the late Bessie Stanley Hudson & Bill Strickland. Betty departed this earthly life on November 18th, 2025.

Betty attended Bolivar Industrial School. She accepted Christ and joined Greater Springfield M.B. Church where she remained a faithful member until her death.

Betty was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Billy Herron.

Before she became a day care worker, she helped take care of Sandy Hopper’s mom. She loved shopping and babysitting. She was a loving lady who loved her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded by her son, Robert Hudson Neely and all her siblings, Mary Lee Blakemore, Ruthie Stanley, Katherine Hudson, Tommett Hudson, Oliver Hudson, and Dorothy Hudson.

Betty leaves to cherish her memories, two grandchildren, Jaqueline Hudson and Robert Hudson, Jr.; two great grandchildren, Kobe Young and Tayvion Noonan; one special companion, Jessie Harris and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
