Bettye June Mitchell

July 10, 1935 ~ May 14, 2026 (age 90)

Bettye June Mitchell of Nashville passed away on May 14, 2026 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital.  She was born on July 10, 1935, to the late Molly Mitchell Cathy.

Her funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday May 20, 2026 at Pleasant Green MB Church.  Burial will be in the Hills of Calvary Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com will be in charge of the professional service.

She was employed as a cook at various restaurants until she retired.  

She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Yolanda Mitchell, Danita Stafford, Vickie Wells, Lori (Micheal) Miller and Kevin (Shonte) Wells; sister, Rochelle Ferguson; eight grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
