God blessed us with Carolyn Dubose on September 22, 1967. She departed this life on February 12, 2024.
Her funeral service was held on Saturday February 24, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Pastor Malesha Henderson in charge. Burial was in the Bolivar Community Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.
Carolyn was born to the late Roy and Mary Dubose. She was affectionately known as Carol to everyone that knew her.
She was a loving and devoted mother, sister, grandmother. She dedicated her life to caring for her children and grandchildren. Carol enjoyed life, laughing, shopping, and riding with her daughter, Tenika.
Carol confessed a hope in Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age.
Carol was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Joan Dubose; her father, Roy Dubose; daughters, Shernika (Tweety bird) Dubose and Patricia Dubose; brothers, Shondell Dubose, Rayford Turner, and George “98” Woods.
Carol leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Tenika Dubose and Cord Brown of Bolivar, TN; grandchildren, Datavion Dubose, Sherlakay Dubose, Jordon Dubose, Cord Brown, Jr., Caiden Brown, and Liyah Brown: brothers, Derrick (Tameca) Dubose of Corinth, MS, Robert Dubose of Memphis, TN, Chris (Nay) Long of Bolivar, TN, and Brian Long; sisters, Casandra long and Camilla Long both of Bolivar, TN, Teresa Hollywood of Dayton, OH, and Roy Pugh of Bolivar, TN; nieces, Lakita Dubose, Tykia Dubose, and Meokia Futrell: nephew, Gregory Dubose; two friends like sisters, Akisha Cody and Sharon Rivers and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
