Charles (C.H.) Woods was born June 24, 1948 to the late Lue Bertha Woods and Ernest Spencer in Bolivar, TN.

His funeral service was held on Saturday September 14, 2024 at Old Bethel MB Church at 11:00 am with Reverend Ernest Polk in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.
Charles attended Hardeman County Schools and graduated from Bolivar Central High School.

He later met and was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Doris Woods on November 6, 1969.

At Doris time of passing, the two had been married 41 years.

Charles was employed for Ford Motor Company for 37 years. After retirement, him and Doris moved back to Bolivar, TN.

Charles spent his latter days doing what he loved, hunting, fishing, gardening, and attending his grandson baseball games.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; two sisters, Minnie Joy and Mary Posey.

C.H. departed this life leaving behind precious memories; one daughter, Le’Trece Woods of Atlanta, GA; three sons, Reginald (Ray Kale) Jackson of Clover, SC, Terry Polk of Bolivar, TN, and Darrell Vaughn of Detroit, MI; six grandchildren, Christopher (C.J.) Woods, Ma’Kayla Nolan. Jarre (Terica) Jackson all of Charlotte, NC, Raven (Eugene) Bellemy of Myrtle Beach, SC, Monique Polk and Octavious Polk both of Bolivar, TN; eleven great grandchildren, six brothers, six sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
