Charlie Lee Tisdale was born to the late Eddie Ray Tisdale and late Bessie Mae (Vineyard) Tisdale of Whiteville, TN.

He was called home Saturday, February 15, 2025.

His funeral service was held on Saturday February 22, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Union Spring MB Church with Reverend Marvin Wooten in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiwefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

He accepted Christ into his life at an early age and was a member of Union Springs Baptist Church.

He worked for UT Martin as a custodian for years. He also did construction work with one of his favorite cousin Jimmy Tisdale.

He never met a stranger, and he always would make friends wherever he went. He loved to be around his family. He loved family gatherings, dancing, and spending as much time with his family as possible.

Charlie Tisdale was preceded in death by his father Eddie Ray Tisdale and mother Bessie Tisdale; two brothers: Larry Tisdale of Nashville, TN and John Tisdale of Grand Junction, TN and one sister: Marlene Tisdale- Jackson of Bolivar, TN.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters: Charlotte Matthews of Nashville, TN and Regina Hughes of Brownsville, TN; one son: Robert Lee Jones of Bolivar, TN; a special daughter that he raised as his own, Belinda Brooks of Martin, TN; six sisters: Virginia Williams of Memphis, TN, Gladys McGowan of Whiteville, TN, Dorothy Crews of Smyrna, TN, Bessie Lee Williams of Memphis, TN, Elma (Charlie) Woods of Bolivar, TN, and Norma Tisdale of Bolivar, TN; two brothers: Willie Arthur Tisdale and Gary Tisdale of Whiteville, TN; special cousins: Lonnie Tisdale of St. Louis, IL, Edna Jones of Whiteville, TN and Jimmy Tisdale of Bolivar, TN. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends to mourn his passing.
