Charlotte Carol Murrell

January 17, 1948 ~ June 9, 2026 (age 78)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Charlotte Carol Murrell, who entered eternal rest on June 9, 2026 at the age of 78.  She passed away on Tuesday June 9, 2026.

Her memorial service is scheduled for Saturday June 20, 2026 at 12:00 noon at St. Paul CME Church-Bolivar.  Burial of the cremains will be held at the Bolivar Community Cemetery at 11:15 am, prior to the memorial service.  Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com is in charge of the professional service.

Born on January 17, 1948 in Paris, TN to the late Ben and Virginia Howard Murrell. She lived a life marked by service, faith, and devotion to family.

She proudly served as an Army nurse during the Vietnam War, providing compassionate care to those in need.

Following her active-duty service she continued her commitment to her country through the United States Army Reserve, where she served honorably.

Ms. Murrell was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known for her kindness, wisdom, strength, and unwavering support of those she loved.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Marie Williams; her grandson, Reginald Thomas Kellon; her siblings, Benjy Murrell, James Murrell, and Brenda Murrell; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben Murrell Jr and Virginia Murrell; sisters Sharon Kay Murrell and Linda Cheairs; and daughter, Trudy.

Ms. Murrell's legacy of service, faith, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. While she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in the memories she created and the example she set through a life well lived.
